Des Moines Co-Ed Volleyball Club (DMCVC) is a not-for-profit organization with the mission of promoting adult co-ed volleyball in the Des Moines area. DMCVC falls under the guidelines established by the Des Moines Public Schools Adult Education Program. Yearly memberships are available to anyone 18 years of age or older.
DMCVC welcomes volleyball players of all skill levels and experience. Our primary service is to conduct volleyball skills training sessions on Monday evenings from October through April at Des Moines North High School. We hope to improve people's enjoyment of the game of volleyball by advancing their skills and knowledge of the game.
If memories of high school gym class are still fresh in your mind, there's no need to worry. Monday night sessions are equal parts volleyball drills, free play, and making new friends. Drills and skills teaching are conducted by the club's board members and long time volleyball players from the community. You will get some nice exercise during the evening but we promise not to make you run any laps around the gym.
