  Walleyed (perch) pike 24" 7 lbs 4 oz.  Rainy Lake Walleyes, Smallmouth Bass and Northerns all run heavy for their length.  Caught and released July 2001.

Little girl with her big fish. Rainy Lake is famous for its smallmouth fishing.  Each year the Canadian National Smallmouth Tournament takes place on Rainy in late July.
